Our religious institutions seem to have lost their ability to provide us with direct experience of our Divine Selves. Religion seems to be more about culture and about following tradition than about connecting to our innate knowledge of the Divine.
Spiritual Practice of any kind helps you connect with your
own inner source of knowing. Spiritual Emergence is a process of separating out the
dogma clotting our minds from the clarity of our true nature. It is a
process of cleansing and emptying out of the beliefs that have us
running around like slaves to the past. by emptying ourselves of these beliefs we can allow our natural selves to
emerge and prosper. It is like clearing away the brush so that the sun
can shine through and the seeds that have been waiting to take hold can
root, grow and flower.
Opening
your mind to the higher self is an ongoing experience of deep
fulfillment. Re-training the body/mind to see past disruptive fears and
lose its resistance to the present is a source of joy. In the process
of spiritual emerging you are guided on a journey where you deepen
your trust in your own intuitive sense of the Divine within you. You
learn to weed out the voices of the past and connect with the voice
that releases all tension. The voice that has no resistance. The voice
of the simple, universal connection. The voice of our only true teacher, Grace.
