Journey to the Depth of Spirit - Awaken the wisdom of the Heart
Transformational Breath
Individual & Community Sessions
with Maya Deva Adjani
Transformational Breath (TB) is a safe, effective, therapeutic system that opens the respiratory system, provides emotional and physical healing, and expands our capacity to be present in our bodies and lives.  Individuals who practice TB regularly not only experience the ability to breathe more fully and deeply, but also the ability to remain more clear and compassionate amidst the challenges of daily life.

Transformation occurs in this process because the emphasis is on that which is already whole complete and perfect within us, and not on our perceived shortcomings.

Breath is life.  The way we breathe is the way we live.  When the breath is full, deep, relaxed and connected- so are our lives!  Amazingly, most humans survive on a thin strand of oxygen, breathing 15-30% of their capacity.  Our particular breathing pattern can be read like a map that mirrors our unique relationship to life.  Shallow breathing is typically an unconscious response to fear, stress and physical and/or emotional trauma.  This work can support us to relax, open and breathe in life!

The Objectives of a Breathing Session:

  1. Open & Balance Breathing Pattern:  Learn to breathe more openly and effectively for increased energy and better health.  An open, healthy breath begins in the lower abdomen and extends to the heart. When a person is focused and finds the right therapist, limited breathing patterns can be identified and corrected.
  2. Clear the Subconscious: Learn how Transformational Breathing heals repressed emotions and negative attitudes in the subconscious permanently through integrating them into a higher frequency.
  3. Connect with your Higher Self: Transformational Breathing is a  life-long tool that can be utilized to assist you with gaining clarity, experiencing your True nature and to access higher states of consciousness.

The Features of a Breathing Session:

  • Breath Analysis: Correction of restrictive breathing patterns and guidance for opening and balancing the respiratory system.
  • Music: Carefully selected compilations that inspire and enhance the flow of the process.
  • Toning and Movement: Sounds and movement which support integration, healing and relaxation.
  • Body Mapping: Pressure points utilized for the release of specific stored emotions in combination with healing affirmations.

More About Transformational Breath

Transformational Breath was developed over 30 years ago by Dr. Judith Kravitz, founder of the Transformational Breath Foundation and author of the classic book ‘Breathe Deep, Laugh Loudly.'  TB was inpired by Judith's journey with healing her 'terminal' throat cancer utilizing diet and lifestyle changes and therapeutic breath-work.  She discovered that her throat cancer was a manifestation of repressed emotional patterns and an 'inability to speak her truth.' Dr. Kravitz found that breathing not only brought awareness to and transformed these emotional patterns, but also purified her body at the cellular level.  To learn more about her healing story and for more info. about Judith's work, please visit her website:  www.breath2000.com

Why is Breathing Properly Vital to My Well-Being?

Oxygen- it's our main fuel!  Oxygen is required for the optimal performance of every system of the body.  Breath always happens NOW.  Mentally, our breath reflects our state of mind.

Stress is so prevalent in today's modern, fast-paced culture that it is no surprise that shallow breathing has become as common as violence on the news.  When we are feeling isolated and disconnected from life, this will 'show up' in our breathing pattern, our primary relationship to life.  Holding the breath serves to temporarily de-activate our feelings so we can respond to a situation that feels too intense in the moment.

Transformational Breath (TB) can support us to become aware of this unconscious pattern of struggle.  The rhythmic breathing pattern of TB initiates healing on all levels and gently calls us to back to our natural state of gratitude and receptivity.
